A lot if people have interesting user names. I was wondering what the reasons were behind them (if there are reasons). My user name is after my cat Jinx.

What kind(s) of bears do you work with? Any specific kind?

I guess I am not the user name type. I use the name Catherine because my name is Catherine. I am sure that says something about me. I do have the nick-name of Catherine the Hamster Lady. It just seemed too long for a user name and I have a lot more animals than hamsters.

I admit I have wondered about the story behind people's user names.

I'm just a nosey person.   And I like to know stuff about the people i'm talking to. It's also cool to hear the reasons.

Mine came from my nickname when I was younger, which was Miss Munchie - I just replaced Miss with Super and got Supermunchie!

I think it is interesting to know about user names as well.
We only have black bears in Florida, the one in my avatar is the biggest one ever caught live, he weighed 620 pounds, He broke into a home after the people threw 5 gallons of used peanut oil in their back yard. Not the bears fault at all.

I collected data from him and released him in the Ocala forest which is about 30 minutes from my house.

My user name is a Welsh nickname that I used to call my daughter when she was tiny,
Ci (pronounced like the English word Key) means dog.
Bach ( pronounced like the composer) means little.
Ci Bach means little dog, but Cibach means pup or puppy.
It doesn't really fit me!!! but it is cute and reminds me of when my cibach was little!!

We live at the foot of a mountain so we see a lot of bears. We've only had a problem with one. It was HUGE and really agressive. He ate trash from the garbage cans. It's guts literally dragged on the ground. It would come right up to the door. One night our old dog Slugger was out and barking. The bear was there. It wasn't scared of Slugger like other bears around were. When my dad got the light the bear was charging Slugger. I'm not sure what happened after but I know my dad got Slugger inside brought him to his room and shut the door. The bear got shot the next year. It was way to agressive. I still feel kind of sorry for it. There haven't been as much wild life this year. our new dog Otis is too protective.

Like I already told you, Jinx, my username is after my cat, Laddie. I didn't want people to think I was a boy, so I just put cat on the end, which made it laddiecat. I guess it didn't work on some other forums because people started thinking I was a boy, 'laddie', so I just started using the username Madilyn (which is my name), sort of like Catherine.

My username is the nickname my boyfriend gave to my last car which I have only recently got rid of (the car, not the boyfriend!). He drives a Subaru and Scooby is a common nickname for a Subaru car. I drove a Peugeot 106 so he called it Babyscooby because it was small compared to his car and he thought it felt a bit like driving a go-kart.

I now have a Fiat Punto and we think that may be nicknamed Teenyscooby because it's like a teenage scooby, a bit more 'grown up' than the Peugeot 106.

I bet you wished you hadn't asked now lol

Lol, I was wondering what your name "Reduckto"  was about just the other day!

Mine's easy. "Southdowns Rock" ; Southdowns are simply my fave breed of sheep. All of mine are Southies with the exception of One Eye who's a North Country Mule (and yes, she did get her name cuz she only has one eye; she had to have the other one removed after she was attacked by a crow before I got her)

Owned forever by Puddles, Sweetpea, Beatrice, Tilly, Summer, Gracie, Jasper, Milo, Riley, Huxley, Jem, Bhodhi, Pepe and One-Eye.

I really could not think of nothing. I dont like mine so much now. All we had a year ago now was two cats. On another form I am just Lorna. I did not know how much of my identy to give away as I was rather new to forums. I am more relaxed now and there are always bits and bob's I give away but nothing major.

Rather intresting to see some of these!

I knew I saw a connection I just couldn't put my finger on it.  Wow I can't believe I didn't see that, Harry Potter is in my top three favourite book series. I've read it over four times (which isn't very many times for me!).
