I just got a new rabbit! He is really scared and he keeps going under his house and won't come out. How can I stop him from doing that and calm him down?

Do you mean, Sandy. Maybe he is scared because, he's new to the enviroment. Something like that. Hope I helped.

Yeah I think the obvious answer is because he's scared.. and you only just got him right..?
So yeah I think that's it. It takes like a couple of days or even weeks for small animals to settle in properly and get used to the enviroment they now live in .

Like Tomm asked, she was a wild rabbit? What type of wild rabbit, do you know?
That is likely the reason, then. If the rabbit was born wild, there is no way you will be able to change her instinct to flee from humans; she thinks of them as enemies. Does the rabbit, by any chance, have the same coloring as these two?

She wasn't taken directly out of the wild. She was somebody's pet and they took them out of the wild. At least thats what they said.

Try boarding up the holes when Sandy is out. Then he can't get under.

Swish, she is still considered taken 'directly' out of the wild, even if someone else did it. The reason she would be lighter than those two, is because she is likely older. These my sister and I found in the beanfields about a year ago (we were working there), and we took them home to let back into the wild where they would be safe from our boss shooting them (they gave us permission, don't worry ).

Where do you have him that he is in danger of being eaten?  Most animals can be won over with treats and quiet patience. Talk softly and make the rabbit want to be with you.
