Great post Bekah, I think it is just what we all needed, to see it through the eyes of a younger person. That really lightened me up a lot

p.s. a hybrid is where two separate breeds mix, like a mongrel in dogs.
and day 9 and 10 will be posted later tonight (been busy at work and replying to threads ) well straight after my yoga class that is

Regards,
John

Well done Laura, animal lover defender.
Well done Bekah, the voice of reason.

If day nine and ten pics are up then why am I not seeing them. And why  do I get such joy in seeing your babies when I can go look at my own. You can never look at too many baby pictures.

When my couples retire from breeding they really are fun again. They have been through an experience that bonds them and now they can rest and play and enjoy life. Dwarfies do love to play. They actually wear out wheels and I have to keep replacing them. I love the dwarfies, they are so cute from birth right through until they are very old. My oldest hamster is almost 26 months. Three cheers for Bill the Hamster!

Yes, well done Bill the hamsters!
Catherine, sometimes your ISP is using cache'd so data when you browse the net you are actually seeing copies of web pages that are slightly out of date, stored copies. On forums the web pages change more rapidly than a standard web page (hopefully!!) so you sometimes need to click the refresh button in you browser, which will force it to update to the latest copy.

John

I did refresh as you suggested, but still no pictures. Are they posted on this thread? Maybe there is a hamster picture blackout for Canada(like they do with Hockey games etc).

Okay, I exited the internet and logged back in and there were the pictures. I leave my internet up much of the time and I can see how it would be a problem. I might change how I do things.

The  day 10 Agouti on the right either has his eyes open or he is very close. They are a healthy looking litter. Well done Elly and Sunny.

For very many reasons

Wow today she hasn't been herself. Acually she hasn't been herself for a couple days.  And she always throws her foodblw around, today she didn't! And now that I know her attitude, she's not beng herself =(

Also how fast are bunnies supposed to breath? Paisley breaths really fast all the time

Bekah, rabbits do throw things around. Have a look at our Charlie here:

Charlie doesn't like his toy ball

and they throw their food bowls around quite a lot.
Rabitts can be a bit grumpy so I wouldn't worry about that.
But if you think it is breathing too fast you should take it to a vet.

John

Yes I wish I could I really do! (take her to the vet) but here it's expensive! And we don't have lots of money right now...

I understand how you feel.. my little Claudette's lungs are getting bad again, and I just simply can't afford to take her to the vet. I have some tools left from her last trip, so hopefully I can come up with something. Good luck!

Sadly most vets have priced themselves beyond the means of a lot of pet owners. We are all going to have to learn to do our own basics like claw cutting and with the dwarfies, teeth cutting. I hope the bunny is alright.

They're on page one of this thread.  Pictures of them a little older are on the thread 'The day by day development of a baby hamster' - Part 2.
