What is it about guinea pigs? They are so funny. Everything about them is cute. You can sing any song about a GP and we laugh. Have you seen "What your Guinea Pig does when you are not home" I don't know how to post it or I would. Pigbert would love to be in the movies.
I'll search for it now Catherine and post it. But basically you just select all of the code text in the box labelled "embed code" and post it straight into the posting window when you are writing your post and it just works. No linking or formatting or anything it's actually one of the easiest things to do.

Is it possible to get these instructions in English? I am not sure(have no idea at all) where to look for the box labelled "embed code". Posting window I think I know.
Catherine, when you view a video on you tube that can be shared you will see a box labelled "Embed" full of "gobblydegook" (wonder what that is Canadian!) - this is the code that magically plays the video. You just click in that box and it highlights in blue and right click - copy (or I think even a left click automatically copies it, I am just so used to right clicking) then paste it in the box where you are posting your words on the forum (the poting window) and paste it wherever you want it to be. I like a space between lines of text and the video (or pictures) so that they don't all run into each other (as Becci will have realised, cause I always change them when it happens ) And that is it! I will do an instructional for video and pics again with screen captures this time to show the boxes that I am talking about when I get a bit of time, in case this is not clearer.

Catherine, do you know on the right of the screen (on youtube) there is a bit of info about the vid, right below it is a box with some html code in it (are you familiar with html?), all of it is in a grey box (like the vid info and the embed info, it will start a bit like this <object width="425" height="355". Hope it helped . I so love this vid its amazing

I think I get it. The real test will be when I do it. One step at a time! That is how they climbed mount Everest, one step at a time. Of course they thought they were conquering the mountain. I prefer to think in terms of embracing things.
Hmmmm, I have never heard a Canadian say "yeee hahhh". Not even the canadian cowboys say it or at least I have never heard the expression. It is from our neighbor to the south. What do canadians say, eh. We must have some little word we use, eh.
I love the guinea pig video. How many hours of filming did it take to get just the right shots.
Hmmmm, I have never heard a Canadian say "yeee hahhh".
Sorry, that's down to my igorance of Canadian culture. I know how you feel, as a Scotsman I can sometimes get a little perturbed when people lump us in with, or don't appreciate the more subtle differences from, our much larger (population wise) neighbour.

Where I grew up in Manitoba, that area along the rivers, is partly a Scottish settlement. My Grandmother was born in Selkirk, Manitoba. The Scottish settlers and the Metis did tend to intermarry so if you root back to that area then you are certainly a mix of French, Cree and Scottish. Then there is English mixed in and some Irish. I call it the Canadian mix. Because we are so mixed we only root to Canada. I can't trace back to pre-Canadian relatives on my fathers side. Actually that pre-dates Canada itself anyhow. There are subtle (or not so subtle) differences between the different parts of Canada. I have been away from the west for twenty years and it is strange to go back for visits. I always think that the weather effects culture and how it developes. It cetainly influences what we eat and when we eat it. Mother nature has more control over us than we realize.
